I have just purchaced a 1999 Commodore 2760 and my speedometer does not work. I can not find where the pickup is under boat, can anyone tll me where to find it, so that I can clean it out, as I think thats the problem?
If it's a mercruiser, the speedometer pickup is built into the drive. There's a small hole on the leading edge of the drive leg and it leads to a plastic connector that connects the speedo hose to the drive leg.
