At the transom is the pick up for the speedo. Is it supposed to be easy to lift up or stiff? This one barely lifts and I noticed my speedo is not working correctly.
Yes it should be stiff. The "cable" is not a cable but an air hose. Correct terminology is "pitot" and "pitot tube" (just to help in your info searches)
