Speckled Finish

I want to thank all that responded to my transom question Ive got it replaced and now need to refinish the inside of my fiberglass skiff the only way that i can explain it has a speckled finish on it now and i want to keep it the same but i don't know if that is paint?pigmented resin or gel cote? thought that maybe someone out there would know the proper name and material to use for refinishing the inside of my 14' stumpknocker

I believe your Speckled finish is Called Zolatone

You can do it with Wallpaper Paste Brush and Paint. dip it in paint. get most of the paint off then tap it with a wooden dowel to spatter the paint.
Works great and takes about 1-2 hours to do your boat. I used Rustoleum Premium Oil Based Paint to do mine. I used white then used Artist Oil based Blue paint to mix up the blue color I wanted.

Most raw F/G boat interiors are done with webbing solution and gel coat, you mix it with the gel coat and spray it on. You can adjust the ratio and gun to get the look you want.
