Spark plug wires

Can I just go into a auto parts store and ask for 1987 GM 4.3 spark plug wires? or do i need specific marine wires?

Unless you ask for 454 plug wires and only use the 6 longest

Jegs and Summit have aftermarket wires that you put the end on after cutting to length. Summit also carries the Sierra wires.
