Spark plug wires

I`m working on a 1975 Mercury 850 4cyl. and it needs new spark plug wires. Is there anything special about the
wires for this engine or can I make them up using 8mm auto. wire?..........THANKS AGAIN.......HAS

Look on Ebay...there are a ton of oem parts on their cheap.... I buy all my parts there cheap....

Need to be solid core wires....

Why wait for ebay? here are period and spec correct wires and they screw into the cap http://store.oldmercs.com/category_s/1880.htm
