I have two outboards, a 2000 merc 9.9 bigfoot and a 2001 merc 150. I was going to replace the plugs and wires when I realized the replacement wires do not exist except for a kit to make your own. The wires are not typical as one end looks normal with the boot, but the other end looks like it goes directly into the coil? What a pain in the you know what. Then you have to buy the boots seperately? I've attached a pic of the kit I found...Any body run across this and what did you do?
