I changed the plugs on my boat today because I was having some hard starting issues. When it was cold it would take all kinds of cranking, and several random pumps of the throttle to get it running.
After I replaced the plugs (gap at 0.035"), it started on the first click dead cold and idled almost perfectly. That was when I heard the one plug wire sparking because I forgot to put it back on. Now it really DOES idle perfectly at about 700 rpm.
Awesome - thanks to the board and the search function, this is the best bang for the buck I've got so far...
