Spark Plug Boots for Force 85

Since the spark plug boots on a 1985 Force 85 are part of coils, has anyone tried screw in type replacement boots? I think NGK make some.

You talking the plug boot?
Any spring/connector and boot can work.
You need a good spring/connector caus ethey can shake loose.

Cost me about 6 bucks at NAPA for boots and connectors.

When I replaced mine they were all corrroded(spring type). I ordered Champion PRO0U. They have brass guts, built for solid terminals, and screw on to the cable. Pricy though at $4.75 each. Took care of my motor misses.
