spark check 1972 4hp 1 cyl

Hi what is the best way to check spark on this little motor. The starter is integral with the upper cowl which covers the whole motor including plug and lead.there doesn't appear to be any where on the fly wheel to wind a rope? Thanks

You can spin motor without cowl on with a socket on top of flywheel nut. It will be enough to see spark. Having plug out will help spin

Thanks Snake, I used my cordless drill a driver and socket. The motor has good hot spark!
