Stripers are a big thing. I got my trip booked for 4/27 around the Chesapeake Beach area. We’re normally up around the Bay Bridge area. Trying something new. After that it’ll be Cow Nosed Ray bow fishing. Those things are awesome to fish/hunt!!

I usually put in around Breezy Point, but the new marina owners have not put out a yearly ramp pass. I'll probably be going out of Chesapeake Beach ramp this summer. It's a pretty tight ramp for my boat, but I'm not paying a $15 ramp fee!

Good luck on your trip next month.... look for me... I'll probably be out there. lol I can't take money for trips, but have a few trips scheduled now for friends and family.

You can bet I’ll be looking!! Your boat should be pretty easy to discern from the others!

LOL! I found a 1/2 acre patch of old growth the new owner was cutting down. He was glad to get rid of some.

I just made a 5' and 8' gaff out of some of the cut offs. They came out real nice!

Made my first trip out in the Atlantic. We had a great time and the boats performance was outstanding. My next trip is out to the canyons for Tuna.... I can't wait!

Here's some stats off the garmin:

That's 3.5 mpg with an old 2 stroke on a 27' boat! Renn Tolman was a genius.

And, some dinner:

Time for a mid Summer update. The boat is performing better than ever expected with nearly 2000 nm on her. Here are some pictures to enjoy:

Very Nice. Were you able to get any striper action?
How have the outriggers worked out for you?

Lot's of fun GA! That's just one of the YFT.... The Admiral's very happy with the tuna and is not making me build another boat. (That was the deal... if this boat wouldn't catch tuna, I would have to build one that would ;0)

Nice ! Sure looks good all rigged up and ready to fish !

Thanks sphelps. It's a meat wagon!

The outriggers have worked great! It's LTJ (light tackle jigging) time for the striper action. Lot's of fun!
