I have a 1995 Mariner 115 hp outboard that is leaking oil somewhere in the front near the fuel line. It leaks and drips out the front of the housing and into the splash well. Any ideas on where it is coming from?

Most likely coming out of the carbs. Mine drain all the time. I think it's mostly normal.

I’d say that’s normal when the engine is tilted up. Or at least, I know it to happen often. Just runs out the carbs

You cannot run out the bottom carbs on that motor ,unless you are above 1800 rpm Make sure the airbox gasket is in good condition and the hose is connected to the crankcase

Other carbs can though. When tilted up

Perhaps an oil leak on the oil lines.------Best to find the leak ( replace hoses ) and fix it.-----Loosing oil injection system gets expensive in a hurry !
