Watching all the storm blowing in on the WET/west coast from SoCal to the Queen Charlotte islands in BC (Hyda Gwaii for Mike Robinson :D)
They are pineapple expresses for us up here, and warm things up in the winter, but for you guys in the south OHHH major destruction.

So are you floating away???

We're starting to dry out now, but the potential of mudslides will stick with us for a few weeks yet.

Here in Rancho Cucamonga, we've received a little over 14" of rain this month and just about 18" for the rain year so far, which ends in June. Normal monthly for Dec is only 6.65 and annual normal is 20.70. We shouldn't have any problem beating that total. I just hope the eastern side of the Rockies get some of this moisture so Lake Mead will benefit from it.

its been pouring for days from SoCal all the way up thru Utah. The virgin river is flowing wild and wiping out homes n stuff in Mesquite, NV. But the Mead water level isnt supposed to change until the snow run-off melts. Im glad its sunny in vegas today, 4 straight days of rain was getting really old here.

I just talked to some people from just south of San Clemente. Wet and some flooding but they are still making electricity. Have a nephew who is at Vandenburg AFB, His wife made the comment a few days ago that they had "30 straight hours of rain!" Well, I guess we won't be seeing them for an Oregon vacation!

Literally a week of solid, nonstop rain. Been here since '93 and never seen anything like it. Really screwed up my plans to paint my trailer.

Right now the Western slope of the Rockies here in Colorado are averaging 140%+ of average snowfall at this point in the year, Just FYI.
