Here is southeast Michigan we are expecting a wet Christmas no snow. The El Nino has been kind to us so far this winter season. After the last two winters we have had here I won't mind if winter passes us by this season. It was 50* today and Wednesday is supposed to break the record high for that day. We could hit 60*.

Here we are 21 days into December and my furnace has been off for at least half of them.

In the Boston area, we are looking at 70 F on Christmas eve and 60's on Christmas day. . . Got to be some sort of record I would think. The weather channel has that we made a record high for this date of 63 F in 1990.

Here in West Central Illinois, we've barely had any freezing temperatures yet this season. Supposed to be in the mid-40s on Christmas day. Not very typical for us.

I hope most of your clients are contracted, and not per job ... If Contracted, you should be sitting pretty!

Kind of a weird year, most of the storms hitting the coast of BC are wrapping around to northern Washington, Idaho and Montana, mindya I remember sking Whitefish one year, we stayed in Kalispel and that town had got a great big dump the day before we got there, alot of big drifts to punch through.

Ya, we have had a few good ones at time, I wouldn't have to plow except FedEx couldn't get here with my wife's present and I am not leaving at the FedEx office longer than it needs to be! I live just SW of Whitefish and west of Kalispell.

Like JAS, if should be uneventful for me in IL. I'm just glad it's down to the 40s on Christmas so I can get a fire going without the windows open.

We have about 6" on the ground and I just finished pushing out the driveway. The forecast is for cold on Christmas with overnight lows in the single digits F. We're planning to spend the day at my daughter's place about 45 minutes away in good weather. My wife drove her Prius over to their place this morning to babysit the grandchildren. It drug its way out the driveway and there is more show in the forecast.

Last year the east got the bad weather and it was rather mild here. This year the tables are turned.

Merry Christmas.

About 1/3 of my clients are contracted and they're probably ticked. The other 2/3s are extremely happy. Me, not so much...

I will be driving up to my White Xmas up in Lake Tahoe. They just got 3' in the last 48 hours at the upper elevations. We need it in California!

My snow removal guy is a lot busier than he was last year.

It will be white at my house in eastern WA state but I am going to the ocean Christmas eve to see my family and do some razor clam digging. It is in the area of some of the stomping grounds of Don S.

Forecast for my area has been upped to near 70 F for Christmas Eve, or about 30 degrees above the average high. Christmas day will only be 60 F (buuurrrrr  )

I think this heat wave is because I fixed up my old snow blower at the end of last season, so it is waiting (and waiting) for its first real test of winter.

We're under a freakin' tornado watch in East Central Iowa as of about 20 minutes ago. Looks like there may have already been some between Mississippi and Indiana. It's December, guys! 60? here and sunny until about a half hour ago.

We had a 10 inch snow before Thanksgiving and nothing but flurries a couple of times since. May be some flurries Tuesday. Oops, wind picking up. See ya.

Saw the spinning wind forecasts and on the ground in places. No one needs weather like that at any time of the year. Be careful folks and keep an eye open.
