Snap Ring Pliers - V6 gearcase disassembly

I need to remove the snap rings from a V6 gearcase (the ones behind the prop bearing carrier). I've got one set of snap ring pliers that's too small for this task, so I'm looking for something that'll get the job done without costing an arm and a leg (I hate spending $80 on a tool I'll use one time). Anybody got suggestions for reasonably priced snap ring pliers that will work for this.
