Smart Tabs Anyone?

Newbie to the forum, I am interested in installing Smart Tabs SX on a 08 Glastron GT185, but worried about drilling into the hull. I have read good reviews about them in forums, but I have not seen any pictures of many Glastrons with them installed. Seeing one would at least give me peace of mind that Glastrons V hull would accomodate tabs.
If anyone has installed them on their boat please advise, if you have picture please post them along.

If you partake in any water sports behind the boat ( wake boarding, knee boarding, etc) the trim tabs are going to kill the wake making it very poor for any jumps. If you could care less about that, they are a great addition from what I have heard.

I haven't found that to be true, in fact smart tabs are one of the only things I have ever found that seem to do their job, that is improve performance for not much money. For the smaller and lighter boats I have to believe they make the biggest difference in performance. A great addition to my boat.

My friend has SX smart tabs on his 19ft Tahoe w/4.3 merc and it hole shots real nice and goes 48+.

I just put a SE 300 hydrofoil on my SX195 and it will plane at 18 mph now with 2 people. My hole shot was terrible with 4 people. I was looking at the same SX Tabs and they look simple to install. I need to test again with 4 people to judge if the SE 300 will suffice or go to the smart tabs
