Did you ever notice that when there is just a slight scent of skunk in the air it smells just like fresh brewed coffee?

I had a skunk indirectly spray me. And it smelled nothing like coffee. It was a horrible smell that ruined my clothes, shoes and hat.

Funny, a few people have mentioned that to me over the years. Never thought of it much until the other day driving with my wife she smells a skunk, and asked if I smelled coffee. Yep, sure smelled like coffee. For a minute. Then ase we got closer to the to the skunk road kill, and it just smelled like skunk.

I don't think its exact but I agree with you. There is a similarity. But then again, I drink the cheap coffee, or at least what I hope is coffee

I don't know about coffee and skunks. But, when I smell a slight odor of a dead animal it smells like kitchen ammonia floor cleaner to me.

My wife says Mickey's Big Mouth Beer smells/tastes just like a dead skunk smells. I'm anosmic so I wouldn't know (no sense of smell).

If your coffee smells like skunk, you need better coffee...
