Single Handed Size

I am not the greatest at close quarters maneuvers and am shopping for a KW. Will have a fairly tight slip with two boats in each slip. Harbor off Long Island Sound.

Do you think I could go bigger than 17' and still single hand? CC versus DC?

I have a 2020DC and have no problem handling it by myself, but an extra hand do make things more easy.

A boat hook is also nice to have on board when docking solo.
