Sierra carb rebuild kits?

The Sierra carb rebuild kits are about half the price of the OMC ones - have these worked OK for folks, or is this one of those cases where paying for "the real thing" is worth it? This is for a 1989 Johnson 70 if that makes a difference. Thanks.

OMC kits include floats - I don't think the Sierra kits do.

some sierra kits do, when you look at the carb kits page there are several columns. without float, with float. i use sierra kits all the time.

Depends on the kit, some do and some don't. It is a moot point on the 70hp because they don't have the troubleome cork float to begin with.
