"Gift" from my uncle (more like, want a boat? Good, get it out of the yard). 1975 Crestliner Crusader C775, 250 straight 6 Mercruiser (to be replaced by a 292 Mercruiser). Needs a new floor, etc., actually pretty much everything. So far, the trailer (to move it) and then engine are the only things I've had time to address.

my 88 Four Winns Sundowner just picked up this fall for my first boat...getting away from waverunners and getting into real water craft...i wanna be able to spend a day out on the lake and have a place to make some lunch/dinner, get out of the sun...etc...
305 OMC, hour meter shows 357 hours...runs great (so far only used it once, well twice counting the test drive)...plan on a full audio system and new covers this spring...she's in hibernation right now.

First boat:
1985 Bayliner Capri 1600 w/ 85hp Force
Bought it for $750 and put about $550 into it adding a bimini and power tilt/trim. Sold it for $2300!

Current boat:
1979 or 1980 or 1981 or 1982 Cajun Brat w/ 1992 60hp Evinrude
I call this one "A Work in Progress" because...well....that's exactly what it is. My plan is to get it on the water by March 1st. It won't be perfect or even anywhere near it but that will have to wait til next boat season.

Sadly, I have not been able to work on my boat this winter as I had hoped. I couldn't find a heated dry space for cheap or free....so my boat sits in the snow. I have been buying supplies...waiting for the weather to break. Looks like I will be spending the boating season here (Michigan) fixing my boat for next year. Oh well.....

Some of you guys have so many resources. I have tools, talent, and willpower, but noooo money!

The first is the full size of my avatar. You can see my crew and a rediculously weighed down boat. The weight came from beer and camping gear. We hold an anual trip that takes us to an island on Lake Hartwell. It's always a blast. The 2nd pic of of the other two boats that come along. My buddy Aaron's, center console jon boat and my buddy Andy's bow rider. The 3rd is of the camping on the island.

I finally found the pics from the 2006 season. The last time I had it in the water after the transom and stringer replacement. Thanks for the iboats shipmates for the knowledge........ Finally my boat as it is now!.........SS
