So I have a 50 hp 2 stroke on a 15 ft glass tri-hull. I had put this motor on a year ago after rebuilding my transom and set my anti vent plant about even with the hull. It ventilated quite a bit, especially on turns. I decided to drop the motor down one hole and now the ventilation is gone. However, the anti vent plate is now about 3/4 inch below the hull. Is it ever acceptable to run a motor like that? I'm new to boating but from what I understand, you generally run the anti vent plate either even or above the bottom of the hull.
