Hi Shadow....just wondered about the name cause the air craft I worked on in the AF was called the Shadow....long time ago...thought maybe you may have been there to......oh well....<br /><br />OK....problems with shifting. First try this....disconnect the shift cable at the engine and shift the engine manually. You should remember that when you shift, pop it into gear....no slow shifting. Get it in gear...so to speak. Same when your using the control box....Reason being, slow shifting wears out the clutch dog and gear lobes.<br /><br />What kind of rpm do you have at idle?<br /><br />When the shift cable is disconnected from the engine, work the throttle handle and watch the end of the cable. Make sure it's sliding smoothly with the action of the control handle.<br /><br />Is there any excess slack in the cable?
