Shift cable routing

Instructions say to route starboard as it come through the stern, then what?

Some go to port. It depends how your shift bracket is set up.
In any case it should go under the flywheel (there should be a clip there) and loops to the shift bracket.

Mines on the port side. Glad I'm taking this slow, thanks! I think an extra set of hands is in order.
