Hi All,
anyone know what this clip/connector is called. Better yet where to find one? Do I need to replace the whole cable or can I get just the connector?

Thanks for any help!

Time for a new cable. Not too bad since its the one that goes to your control.

Search out online 33C Red Cable Adapter Kit Morse Controls Cable Adapter Kit.
Only for use with type 33C Morse Red-jacket cables.
Mercruisers part number ought to work too, Part number A301901 / 301901.

https://www.iboats.com/shop/searchrabbit/result/?q=33C+Red+Cable+Adapter+Kit

But Part Number # 620-30055 from these two places (which is basically the same store companies) says it fits OMC stern drive , https://www.hardin-marine.com/p-13359-omc-sterndrive-cable-adapter.aspx , https://www.cpperformance.com/p-13359-omc-sterndrive-cable-adapter.aspx

Thank you very much, the clip/connector broke on lake for labor day leaving me in forward gear until i figured out the problem.
Again thanks so much!

I realize this is a dated thread, but I have innovated a connector from brass parts common at any hardware store...they work perfectly.
