Re: Sharkhide

I haven't used it but have read a LOT of posts regarding this, and from what I've observed, the Sharkhide protect ant that is used after the cleaning is the ticket. There are lots of good cleaners out there, but it's keeping them there that is difficult and I believe that is where Sharkhide excels. Not saying you can't use their product for cleaning (are you thinking the spray on, acid type cleaner)? I've contemplated using that myself...

Re: Sharkhide

I have had it on my toons since I purchased it back in 03 when my toons were still brand new and it has kept them that way since then, with a couple of dings here in there, it works great. Depending on the condition of your toons, you may want to get them the brightest/cleanest as you can, then apply Sharkhide. Sharkhide is applied by hand and a clean cloth directly to the toon like you are apply wax to your car, but it is like a varnish, dries clear and you are done.

Hope this helps.
