Semi fitted boat covers, how to choose one?

I need a new cover for my 22 foot deckboat. It is V bottom with 18" tall sides above the deck and a small (roughly 14") console windshield. I am afraid to pull the trigger on a semi fitted boat cover because it may not fit right and these covers are pretty expensive to take a gamble on. Any advice or suggestions where to go to get a decent priced, good fitting cover? My boat is a 1994 Lowe LS2220 deckboat. Most of the websites don't list covers for this model. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

My last 2 covers have been specifically for the boat model and they were 100% perfect.

Prior to that my boat model was not listed and I had to buy a semi-custom. (I.e., length, beam, etc). The cover fit poorly and was not acceptable to me. They took it back no questions asked.

What I ended up with was a Carver, and it was an awesome cover. It's what made me buy the two subsequent custom covers.

Buy one thru IBoats and it should be fine. Even if its not they will take it back.

Either get the right cover, or get a custom cover custom made that fits

I need to check with Carver and see if they can make me another cover. I originally had a duck cotton type cover that rotted and about probably 13-15 years ago I rode by Carver industries with the cover in my trunk. The owner happened to be walking in when I pulled in the lot and he looked at it and said it was not repairable. He walked me in and handed me off to someone who sized me up for what I needed and they made me a custom Sunbrella cover. Great customer service. I'm just trying to save a few $'s, if there are decent covers for less money, I don't mind replacing them periodically. Where the cover is located it will take some environmental abuse.

What are good, lightweight materials? A 22' Sunbrella cover is durable, but it's heavy..

I bought a semi cover off Iboats for my little 14' SC Holiday runabout. I forget which brand, but it's made of the cheaper fabric, but it's a major upgrade over the $50 universal covers from Walmart. It also cost triple that.

I don't love the cover, but I don't hate it. Having a custom cover done for my boat would exceed the boats value... Iboats may list a cover for your model though

I have a Classic Accessories cover for 6 years now. It cost me $169 in 2015.

It's not a custom cover, but the fit is really good on my 2003, 18 foot bow rider. They had different size ranges to choose from. Mine was type D.

The boat stays out during the boating season and is garage kept in the off season here in Pennsylvania.
I trailer with it on. The lake is 30 minutes away, average speed 45 mph.
It is still in great shape.

If I needed a cover, I would buy this exact one again.
