Even though it seems like that you should only be able to see the Moon during a lunar eclipse, because of atmospheric refraction we will be able to see both the Sun and the Moon at the same time on Saturday morning. A once-in-a-lifetime event? This should be pretty cool. :cool:

Havent had time to read the whole article but looks neat, I bet I will have my eyes to the sky saturday at 6pm PST.

I see the sun and the moon at the same time quite often.

I can't say I've seen the sun and moon during a lunar eclipse though. And I won't.

West coast only.
