SEEN ANY 300HP OUTBOARDS YET? I've seen pictures and heard stories but have not personally seen any yet.If you have please post your results.Pictures would be especially cool.
Yet? What do you mean yet? They been around since the mid 80's. Had a couple myself.<br /><br />I'm sure you mean the new ones. They all seem to run good. Popular enough that Wiseco makes replacement pistons for most.
No,the biggest outboard around here(Atlantic Ocean in Florida ) is a 250HP.Most are twins and I once saw a triple.I did see a quad on a defense boat but none were larger than a 250hp.I'have yet to see a 300hp on the river or in the Ocean.
They all seem to do well in the tests in magazines. Saw a couple of 300x Pro Maxs on a rig a few months back. Those require high test fuel. I'd hate to fill that rig up but it sure was pretty!
