Sealing pink insulation foam?

I’ve been weighing my options on what type of foam to use under the deck of my Sea nymph. I was gifted the boat torn apart and ready to be rebuilt. I am unsure if any rivets leak and think I’m going to opt to use pink insulation. My biggest concern at the moment is water drainage and oil/ gas eating the foam. What do you all think of painting/sealing so if any corrosive fluids get on them they cannot break them down? Has anyone done this? What did you use and how did it perform?

no way to seal it from solvents. you will end up chipping or damaging the coating by simply picking up the foam, so you may as well not even try.

@BWR1953 used fuel safe bags to wrap his pink foam & protect it on his King Fisher build

Which was nominated for the Starcraft Splash of the Year:

His rebuild topic is linked @ his pictures and he's fairly active on the forum, so I tagged him in my reply

Yup, I used HDPE trash bags to fully encapsulate my foam sections at the stern of the boat. And I sealed them with aluminum tape which is also fuel resistant. The bags are easy to get; just do a 'net search.
