1959 was the year when they changed the design to white and sharp edge modern type. <br />Are there anyone who like the new style. <br />Or is it just from the 50-year distance I like the old style unit.
I like the fiberglass hoods after about '60 when they dropped the big circle on the top. Probably very "high tech" looking back then, much like black outboards in the 80s or the amorphous blobs of the 90s+. Gotta say Merc's new bug/Aliens look is kind of neat though.
