You all are cracking me up... YD The deck screws are fine like you say as long as you're not running submerged in salt water and if you seal them up with epoxy like we all normally do, (right). Heck just coat them up with exterior carpet glue when you lay your carpet and that's usually enough.
How often do you need to change the deck screws on your exterior home decks. Every 10 years... If you're working on a boat you bought used then keep that in mind because odds are you're not going to keep it any longer than the last guy. That's just the way it works with boats and boat owners. I'm on my 5th in 10 years! We're the guys that constantly chase the golden egg! ROFLOL...
