im looking for a more specific answer because im about to lay out money for a 1948 power head for my 1952 7.5 if it dosnt fit it will be a waste of money

Probably no answer because nobody's tried the specific swap. My educated guess is it is a no-go. They have different drive shaft types and probably will not mate up with the crankshaft.
