Donna took her last chemo treatment last Friday...WOOHOOO!!! She didnt have to take that shot that keeps her white blood cell count up...DOUBLE WOOHOOO!!!!! I guess the next mile stones will be getting the breast reconstructioin finished and the chemo port removed. That should happen sometime after the first of the year. Hopefully they can remove the chemo port at same time they complete the reconstrucion process so she wont have to go under general anesthesia twice.
If you remember from my last post I said I was planning something special. Well, here it is. I have a weekend at a spa planned for her. It is in Greenwood, MS up in the Delta. Its owned by the Viking Range company. The package I got is call Date Night in The Delta. Its where you get a 3 hour spa treatment thats wrapped up with a one hour professional massage. Then, at 6 p.m. you go to the Viking cooking school where 6 couples are coached on cooking their dinner by a professional chef. Greenwood also has lots of little gift shops that she'll enjoy doing what she does best and thats shopping.
