Hello everyone-
Got another project underway. So this 21' skiff has been a planter box for the past 15 or so yrs after it was no longer used for fishing. I would always drive by and see it in the ground and think how it had pretty neat lines (imo), and would ponder how it would look rebuilt. One day it happened, the owner dug it up, and it went to a friends house. A few months later it ended up at my house. The rest is history-
I know alot of folks will ask why I wasted time, money, materials to rebuild this boat- I hated to see it go to the landfill! I used old school materials- 3/4 marine ply, polyester resin, old fashioned laminating to create the stringers and transom-just the way I decided to build it.
Gutted to the bare hull, some areas of delamination removed, reglassed the entire inside of the hull. New stringers, new transom, added transom knees, and have decided to ad a sight fishing tower for flats fishing
