Love the footprints ploy. :D

After using the cookies and empty milk for a couple of years. Wife and I changed to a half eaten carrot laying on the deck. Told the kids the reindeer had a treat but had to leave before finishing. Great laugh when they discovered, years later, it was me.

Did the cookie crumbs, and the reindeer crumbs / pieces of carrot. Also went so far as to take a couple of 2x4's and nailed them about 4 feet apart and then dragged them across the snow covered roof of the garage (cause you could see that from the bathroom window). Both of my kids, now 21 and 16 believed till their early teens.

For the tooth fairy my wife would mix a couple of different types of glitter together (so it couldn't be found in the store) and put it in a shaker container and shook it from the window sill across the floor to the bed and around the pillow. Kids woke up with "tooth fairy dust" on them.

Man I miss them being little :(

Hey Deadwood,

Told my wife about this when I got home from work this morning.
She loves it too, and thinks you're brilliant... Wish ya could've seen the look on her face. She practically melted:). Thanks again!!!

I fell for the boots in the soot trick when I was young. I took pics to school and showed the class. I remember one young boy told me there wasn't a Santa Claus. I of course didn't believe him because after all I had proof or so I thought.

I remember when my two boys were younger, they were discussing if Santa was real or not. The older of the two, probably around 9 at the time, told the youger one..... "of course there's a Santa, there is no way that dad is going to spend this much money on stuff" :D

My wife and I still laugh at that one.

When ya'all think your kids believe in Santa till there in their teens. They are just playn' ya. Once ma ans dad know you dont believe in Santa, Santa stops coming by.. I figured out there was no Santa at about age 7. As far as ma and dad knew I BELIEVED in Santa till I was 16:rolleyes::D Keep those goodies coming !!!!
