i think when the boat went swimming something was drawing power causing the currents to stray , this in turn has caused other electrical issues.
the water may have some salinity as well, even fresh water has some degree of particles that can allow current to stray.

if i was in your position , i would get one of those soap dispensers that hook up to a pressure cleaner and swamp the entire interior , engine , wherever there are wires or electricle components that could have absorbed water! , let it sit and dry a bit , then a high pressure wash down. just be careful around gauges as they are not always water proof , just water resistant. there are some very good detergents that people use to wash cars that have cabaña wax additive (spell check cabuna)that will work for you .

not to say this will eliminate all future issues , but, it will help .

I did go thru the DIY 'ers trouble shooting directive but I need to repeat after I purchase another ignition amplifier wiring loom and cut & reconnect it as I somehow pulled the purple and wht/green wires out of mine and I can't reassemble them correctly so I can't verify whether it is good or bad (the amplifier) because as is I get no volts out of any component...so I will report back as soon as I get a hold of a replacement for the loom and go from there!
Thank you all for your support, ideas and suggestions once again!

Well, after spraying and cleaning all contacts, plug wires, inside cap & rotor, sensor, etc., with electronic spray cleaner, I went through the trouble shooting quide...no voltage at ignition amplifier. Then I looked at the wire harness/loom and it was sort of funky so I found some of the wires were loose. I tried to repair them but to no avail. Meanwhile searching the local marine supply store I came across a universal wire/plug adaptor that like it might fit on a whim so I bought it for like 20 bucks, hell they want well over $60 and up on ebay used! Anyway I got home matched it up to my amplifier...IT FIT PERFECTLY!!! I then wire butted my wires from my old loom, hooked it all up to coil, dizzy, etc.
Guess what? Yup! I know have voltage and spark where I had none prior to all of this. I am proud of my innovative intuition! I love it...anyway, yet to fire do I'll try it again in the morning and report back...I'm getting closer.

Anyone recall "I'm getting closer to my home" by GrandFunk Railroad from the '70's? Anyway...

I had a small (so I thought) leak in the bilge. Left her in a slip all night. Woke up and went the boat. Bilge full of water but still hull was still above water but a couple of inches. I was confused so instead of finding a pump I figured if I could start her I would accelerate until the water was evacuated by forward motion. I got in, started her up...then when beginning to plain the river floode inward as my aft end started going down while I found myself in about chest deep water and to boat was on the bottom...well I was asleep at the wheel so to speak and the rest is history!

What made you think driving the boat filled w water would rid all the water out? Let alone doing more damage to destroy your engine doing so. 😩🤔🥺. We're you tripping? I would of found someone with a bilge pump like instantly.

Just woke up, startled, confused, was still half asleep, didn't think of it, I reacted instead of responded, shall I go on...sometimes we do and make very bad decisions and this mistakes. Oh well, this was one of those times.
In the meantime, I've got very bright spark. I think I'll change oil & filter again and add some fresh fuel again.
Then I'll try starting her again...
