I was going to replace the fuel tank in my '77 srv240, but it became apparent that taking it out would be nearly impossible. I now plan to scrap it, maybe cut part out for room, and use saddle tanks. My question is, if you have saddle tanks, can you have them connected to each other with a t joint with one fuel line to the engine so the fuel level stays the same in each tank? Are there safety issues? Legal issues? Seems to me it would work fine, but want to double check. Thanks
