Running w/o t-stat

Hello,
I searched for a while, and can't find any info wheather or not it is safe to run the engine without a thermostat. Mine is stuck closed and the new one won't get here until middle of next week. Its not cold enough outside to winterize the motor just yet. Hoping to get a few more runs this year.

sweeperforce, I was told that it was ok to run w/o a thermostat..it will just run cooler..its just like a car or truck. That's what i was told by a boat machanic..Good luck

My 99 75hp never had one from the factory it runs just fine. Either way it wont hurt it.
