Running new wires

Sorry guys this maybe a dumb question, but I have never completely reworked a boat, what gauge wire have you guys used for trolling motor, lights, bildge, etc

Lights, bilge, other small current draw you can use #16, or #14. For trolling motor depends but #10 or #8 is common. Also its common to run #10 from the batt to your power panel at the helm. It all depends on the current draw of what you are powering.
