Running a 4hp four cycle on 2 cycle fuel/oil mixture?

This 4hp came with a boat that also has a 65hp. It didn't want to start with the 2 cycle mix. Has been a long time since it last really ran.

I would go outside and play with it. Feeling quite sick today.

Should start and run just fine on 50:1 mix. Might notice a little smoke and foul plugs faster, but should start just fine.

Didn't they start making four strokes around 2000? To me, that is a young outboard.
