Back when I had the Harley I was cruising down the road looking cool. It started starving for fuel. I reached down to flip the fuel lever to the reserve position....... It was already in the reserve position. Having not being switched back to the run position after the last fill-up.

Once.<br />Took Yamaha motorcycle into the shop with 3 gallons of gas in it. Picked it up the next day with 3 ounces of gas in it.<br />They never told me, I never checked.<br />Ran her dry in about 2 miles, RIGHT in front of the Harley Davidson frame plant, at lunch time.<br /><br />That was a long 1 mile push up hill, past all the HD guys sitting outside on their lunch break.<br /><br />I pretty much decided I would never own a Harley right then.
