Actually I may be FOR it. After all, the National Guard should guard the nation. The Coast Guard is guarding our coast. The OTHER branches should be doing the overseas stuff. (And of course they are.) I think it's a justifiable role for them. And they're close to home if a hurricane should break out or something. Or if someone would attack us here. Wouldn't it have been nice if the Louisianna National Guard were actually around after Katrina instead of over in Iraq?!

But that would make SENSE! We just can't have that, now can we? I mean it would upset the imbalbance of nature and everything. Oh, the Humanity!
