Or how to put an instant wire stripper notch in your best wire cutter. It was the division CPO that told this SA to just cut the cable. It's secured.

that's not enough. checking yourself is. years ago i had my lug wrench inches from the terminal that was 480v i beleive... stopped and got my meter out. couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it live. someone had tampered with the padlock on the lockout. and that was in a max prison w/much control over what takes place..

as for rule number one. that's great man. i'm still chuckling. very funny. sometimes pertinent too...

AMEN: that is the ONLY way to stay safe. 110 220 will make strippers out of your Diagonal cutters. you get much more than that it's a trip to the hospital.

My "foreman" thought he knew everything. you have never seen a pair of dikes Vaporize into a fireball until you have seen someone cut though 3 legs and a ground on 480 three phase.. He sustained 2nd and 3rd deg burns on his arm neck, chest and face.

anyways.

My favorite rule. Put it back where you got it...

"if it ain't broke don't fix it.. and if you do and it breaks, it needed fixin anyways.. "
