rub rail help

just got a 1988 cobia odyssey it is a 19.7. looks the someone used it for crash up derby. anybody ever install a new one before? if so how do you know what size to get?and what is a good place to get it from? any input would be appreciated

should i just measure what is on there now and get same size? thanx for the website
