My roast was about 6 - 8 lb. I would say that you could cut the time back some, but when slow cooking in a closed container, it doesn't get "more done" it just falls apart easier.<br /><br />For a 2 lber, would probably do a couple at a time (Can always refreeze them) because I wouldn't want the roast to get lost in my oversized roaster.<br /><br />(Maybe 7 or 8 hours would be enough for a 2 lber)
