Just checking which is preferred bundling the excess harness lengths at the helm under the center console or at the stern before it passes through to the outboard? Some of my harnesses have a lot of extra length. For what it's worth it's a 1997 wellcraft 190ccf with 2001 yamaha 130hp v4 2 stroke. Thanks

Depends on what is in the cable bundles.

Coiling power and digital signal wires in the same bundle can setup magnetic fields scrambling digital signals.
