Reverse not engaging straight away

On my recipe it only says 75w90 synthetic blend. I just thought that the GL5 was the same.

Could be non Volvo gear oil. GL-5 is just the service characteristic rating. Has nothing to do with who makes the oil or what it is made from.

Well guys I finally adjusted the cable and unfortunately to me its still the same. By the time it gets in reverse the revs seems to be a bit high then it clunks in reverse. The drive got rebuilt buy a well respected volvo mechanic, So I'm not to sure what to do now
