Oh no, too short steering cable! That's a no go, foot too long is way better

Glad you got the crud outta that tube, makes for a way smoother set up.

;) I probably went to conservative with moving the consoles back plus I thought the original cable was a little long. Guess it's water on the bridge now. Weather still isn't holding up for any real sustainable experience in the water.

Thanks for stopping by Decker83 .

pulled dash panel and started some tinkering last night for electrics. Might work a little more on that tonight and some other wiring. I want to mount my blue sea fuse panel the back of the dash panel. I'm just not sure if it will clear the new steering helm. I think it will be fine. I can't wait to take her for a splash!!

Bummer about the cable. But you're rolling along nicely and will be splashing in no time! :joyous:

Haha thanks for stopping by guys. Steering came a day early so going to work on that tonight. Got all the electrical done except fuel and tach input signal. All electrics operational just need to clean up wiring with zip ties and what not. Put my vinyl letters and new registration stickers. She's legal now. Might take on electric only lake soon.

Snow in forecast again this week. Had 2" yesterday morning but it melted in hours. Maybe update wth some pics later. Stay tuned guys!

You going to take that boat ice fishing? Congrats on getting her fully functional. Can't wait to see the pictures from the splash. Remember it didn't happen unless there are pictures! :D

No ice breaking with an electric TM.

I'll get a running start

66Holiday924 yessir i will provide pics if I get her out this week. Got steering done last night 😊 feels nice. Need to put on my boots for splashwell and cable boot post tilt tube for nice clean look. Windshield is so dusty from sitting in the shop all winter long. Gotta clean up and add Angry Mob decal. Here's a shot of the helm last night.

I didn't know that "splashing" it while using the electric trolling motor was against the rules.

Now that puts me just that much further behind.

Dusty, but boots on 😁

might take her to state park electric only tomorrow. Do some wacky worm bass fishing, testing out graph and what not. It's warm enough today, but wind gust are nasty. Weather not cooperating but basically I hit my build date lol April. I didn't say a year, or a day

still gotta clean up cable routing down the gunnels. Shpould be a real easy task though. Figure I should shake itndoen before tidying up. Velcro cable ties are pretty nice. Easy to work with and reusable.

Looking really nice. You going to put a boot on the other hole also?

I have one in the garage but it was only for the 2 control cables. I don't want any more holes back there so I may just try to find a boot that fits and some rigging tube or something like that.

You shouldn’t need anything too extreme that far up in the splashwell. I would install something though or put a wrap around then so the edge of the metal doesn’t wear down the cables...

I don't know guys thinking about taking her out currently sitting at 44 with about 10 mile an hour winds. Could catch a bass or two maybe find some structure holding crappie...
