I first joined this site last February when I bought a 1962 Redfish to restore. I've since also bought a well-cared-for 1958 Whitehouse with two early '60s 70-hp Mercs (one for parts). I've decided to seek out more Redfish boats to restore----they are the coolest, in my opinion.Haven't started any actual restoration as yet, but have started cleaning them up in prep. Mainly looking for the hardware and various trim pieces for the Redfish (yes, I know that's getting ahead of the project, but it's so fun looking for that stuff!)
Do I know anything about fiberglass restoration? The answer is: not enough to know not to do it!
One item I'm looking for is a pair of chrome tail fin caps for the 'Fish. Anybody?
