We look forward to seeing your restoration. Without pictures, it's hard to know exactly where you are with the stringers, floor and transom. The advice you would get would be different if this was an aluminum vs. a fiberglass boat. Woodonglass is a fiberglass genius :hail:....though we are trying to lure him over to the tin side.
There are a bunch of users here who are experienced with aluminum restorations as well.
Your best bet to start out is to view some restoration threads for your type of boat (aluminum or fiberglass), and to see if you can find some restoration threads on a similar model. Once you have done that, post some pics of your boat and begin asking questions. You'll get lots of help!
