replacing trim motor on boat

I have a 1989 evinrude 90 hp i need to change the trim motor can this be done while on the boat and how thanks

Yes, assuming that you mean that the boat is not in the water.

Yeah the boats out of the water just the motors down and that back screw doesnt look to easy.

Unscrew the manual relase valve, lift the leg up, lock with trailer bracket and remove the whole assembly. I'd get the factory service manual before trying anything.
